Commercial Painting in Huntington Beach, CA

Commercial Painting

Commercial painting is interior and exterior painting for offices, retail spaces and other commercial buildings, and Sharp's Painting does that work in Huntington Beach and coastal Orange County. Owner Robert Sharp has 27 years in the trade, runs his own crew with no subcontractors, and is on site with them. Salt air and sun chalk stucco, split caulk joints and rot fascia, so prep is most of the work. Pressure washing, scraping, sanding, replacing rotted wood and fascia, patching stucco cracks, caulking and priming all come before any finish coat goes on.

Exteriors are sprayed and back rolled so the coating is worked into the surface instead of sitting on top of it. Sharp's Painting is bonded, insured and California C-33 licensed, license 1048840. Hours are Monday through Saturday, 6:00 AM to 9:00 PM, closed Sunday. Estimates are free and you can pick from up to 10 free paint samples. You pay nothing until the job is done and you are satisfied.

The paperwork a Huntington Beach property manager asks for

Here are the numbers for your file, up front. Sharp's Painting operates under Robert Sharp, California CSLB license 1048840, classification C-33 for painting and decorating. It is bonded and insured. is active, and general liability is in place. All of it is public, so you can pull it on the CSLB license lookup rather than take a website's word for it. If your building has paperwork a contractor has to clear before starting, raise it at the walkthrough and Robert will tell you what he can provide.

What Sharp's paints on the commercial side

Offices, retail storefronts and light commercial buildings, inside and out. Huntington Beach commercial space runs from the small storefronts downtown near Main Street to the offices and suites along Beach Boulevard and Warner Avenue and the business parks further inland, and those buildings differ as much as the houses do. Robert walks the property with you before quoting anything. If you are not sure whether your building is the kind of work he takes, call (714) 610-5880 and ask him rather than guessing from a web page.

How far you sit from the water changes the job

A storefront a few blocks off the sand and an office suite inland near the 405 are not the same repaint. Near the water, salt air and the marine layer chalk the paint, split the caulk joints and rot fascia and trim, so the wash, the scraping, the wood replacement and the primer are most of the job. Inland the sun does the damage instead, drier and harder on color, and it opens stucco cracks. Robert prices what your building is actually dealing with rather than a standard exterior package.

Working around a business that stays open

Sharp's Painting works Monday through Saturday, 6:00 AM to 9:00 PM, and is closed Sunday. That window covers early mornings, evenings and Saturdays, which is usually enough to keep the crew off your entrance during your busiest hours. On exteriors your doors, parking and entries stay usable while the work runs, and signage, glass, light fixtures and hardware get masked first. On interiors the space is sequenced so your team keeps working. Tell Robert your hours at the walkthrough and the schedule gets built around them.

The same crew every day, and no payment until it is done

Robert owns the company and is on your property with his own crew, which matters more on a commercial building than on a house because there is no rotating cast of subcontracted labor moving through your space. He has 27 years in the trade and a 5.0 average across 125+ Google reviews. You pay nothing until the job is finished and you are satisfied with it, and there is no deposit.
